Here is my first You Be Healthy video! It is a short clip of me on the windtrainer (my mountain bike on spinners) at day 12 after knee surgery.
My rehab is going at record speed according to my surgeon!
This is the low down on what I am doing:
- Using my regular supplements, plus a few ‘healing supplements’.
- Cut out inflammatory foods like coffee, chocolate, corn and grains/sugars
- Eating all organic fruit/veggies (like I always do!)
- Hemp smoothie every morning.
- Probiotics
- Very light yoga stretching every morning.
- Knee/leg strengthening exercises every morning.
- Short meditation everyday.
- Healing visualizations that I learnt from the book “Dreamhealer” by ‘Adam’
- Physiotherapy
- Massage Therapy
- Going to my Reiki/Energy healer (Kaleigh Wray!)
- I rest LOTS and listen to my body
- Biofeedback
- Ice and compression
- Lots of Arnica – both as a pill and a cream
- Smile and am positive! 🙂
